Surprisingly Memorial Day ie Monday 29th remained bright and sunny.

Kuhu got a pattern painted on her face.

Seattle Center has many fountains but this was the best of all.

The dance continues to the irresistable beat of the drums

One of the most popular street show was the drums played by professionals and spectators joining in the impromptu dance!

The gathering, more like Indian mela, was right below the Space Needle in the Seattle Center.

Here is the view of the live musical show

There were lot of temporary eating stalls in the park. There was one even selling Indian fast food. One could watch the musical show live while eating.

A sea-gull landed up to eat the popcorns.

The artificially created tropical conditions ( 82 F and high humidity) had hundreds of colourful butterflies.

View of the Snoqualmie Falls from it's floor.

28 May. After the railway museum we headed for Snoqualmie Fall, just a stone throw away. At 300 feet it is higher than Niagara Falls (180 feet). We walked down a trail to the foot of the fall, all in a constant drizzle. The distance from the falls to home is just about 7 miles.

On 28 May we were out the whole day. All in a non-stop drizzle!
